Rib Lake Segment
Ice Age Trail Atlas Map 25f; Ice Age Trail Companion Guide p. 248
The former off-road path from CTH-C heading west to Harper Dr. will no longer be part of the Ice Age Trail. The IAPTF and its partners hope to open an alternative off-road section between CTH-C and Harper Dr. in the future. Parking is still available on the 30-acre, IAPTF-owned Rusch Preserve. The Preserve is located on the west side of CTH-C. Foot travel is welcome on the Rusch Preserve, but do NOT wander beyond its boundaries. When hiking this segment from east to west, upon reaching CTH-C, cross the road to explore the Rusch Preserve, or continue along the Ice Age Trail by turning right and following CTH-C north for a quarter mile to Rustic Rd. #1. Turn left and follow Rustic Rd. #1 west. Continue for another 1.5 miles to the intersection of Rustic Rd. #1 and Harper Dr. Turn left onto Harper Dr. and follow it south for approximately one mile, then turn right to resume off-road Ice Age Trail hiking.
