Loew Lake Segment

“No Parking” signs have been installed on the Washington County side of County Hwy Q in the Monches area. Roadside parking is available on Hwy E in Waukesha County or 0.5 miles east on Hwy Q at the DNR parking lot. (05/15/08)
Northern Holy Hill Segment

The boardwalk and bridge south of Waterford Rd. has flood damage. Parts are floating. There is no easy bypass except road walks along Waterford Rd. to Hwy K. (07/22/08)
Cedar Lakes Segment
Ice Age Trail Atlas Map 85f; Ice Age Trail Companion Guide p. 71
Trail planning continues in this area to link the existing loop trail with County Hwy NN where a parking lot for hikers will be built in spring 2008. The area is open to the public but currently the Ice Age Trail route is only flagged so travel carefully. Trail work here is scheduled for summer and fall 2008. (05/15/08)
Southern Kewaskum Segment

There is a large pond halfway through the segment due to recent heavy rains and flooding. Water levels have dropped to less than 1 foot in depth but the distance to cross is 200 feet. The Trail has not been mowed due to water levels. Road walking around the segment or hiking in shorts & sandals through water and tall grass are options. (07/22/08)
Northern Kewaskum Segment

The trail between US Hwy 45 and Sunburst Ski Area on Prospect Road is currently under construction. It can be walked but a new boardwalk over a very wet area and blazes will not be completed until late summer 2008. Check the website calendar for work dates. (05/15/08)
