We will continue our ongoing savanna restoration by clearing invasive brush and weed trees from the west hillside.  We also may prepare firebreaks for spring burns.  It’s possible we’ll drive some vehicles and gear closer to the actual worksite via the neighbor’s driveway and farm lane.  Properly trained and equipped chain sawyers are welcome.  There will also be plenty of work hauling and piling the cuttings and treating the stumps with herbicide, as well as work for those preferring to use hand tools.  If we have snow cover, we’ll burn piles and cook sausage on a stick over the coals for lunch.  Wear old, natural fabrics (no synthetics) to work around fires  Contact leader for further details.
