Waukesha/Milwaukee Chapter Hartland Hike

May 18, 2019 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Free

Please join in one of our monthly hikes on the Ice Age Trail on May 19  in Hartland. Hikes are led by Jeff Romagna and held in conjunction with the Hartland Parks and Recreation Department.

Hartland was the first community in Wisconsin to be designated as an Ice Age Trail community. A 4.7 mile segment of the  trail runs through the Village, passing by highlights such as the Aldo Leopold Overlook and Cottonwood Wayside, and the John Muir Overlook and Maple Wayside. The segment also passes through several parks, including Penbrook, Nixon Park, Bark River, Hartbrook and Centennial Parks.

Hikers should dress appropriately for the weather. Water is recommended.

For more information about the hike, contact Jeff at folkmusic@wi.rr.com
