Glacial Valley Conservancy hosts our newest mile of trail and it needs some cleanup from the summer built brush piles.  Provided that there is snow cover, the Village of Cross Plains can let them go up in smoke.  This is an awesome cabin-fever activity as we continue the demise of buckthorn atop a driftless area bluff.

No facilities on site.  Dress in layers for changing weather.  Natural fibers are better near flames, synthetics will melt.  Bring water, food, leather gloves, personal items.  Handsaws & loppers will be provided.  Certified Sawyers with PPE are welcome.  Please contact the leader to confirm attendance so that enough supplies are brought to the worksite.
