Walk-the-Waush Challenge, Waushara County Chapter
June 1, 2023 - September 3, 2023
Challenge yourself, family, friends, and co-workers to lace up their walking shoes and cover as many miles as you can between June 1 and September 3 and earn a hiking patch! Log miles on any of the 14 trails in Waushara County and join us for exciting events.
About the Challenge:
Hike 3 or more trails and log 10 or more miles to receive a 2023 Walk-the-Waush patch. The Challenge is free and open to walkers, runners, and hikers of all ages and abilities.
All participants should record their mileage on their own Walk-the-Waush Log Sheet or Online before September 8th.
Challenge Patch Levels:
Navigator: 100+ miles
Adventurer: 75+ miles
Backpacker: 50+ miles
Explorer: 25+ miles
Hiker: 10+ miles

- Saturday, June 3: National Trails Day Hike on the NEW Pleasant Lake loop of the Ice Age Trail. Meet at 12:30 pm.
- Saturday, July 1: Sunrise Yoga at Mt. Morris Park. Meet at 4:50 am.
- Saturday, August 12: Glow Like a Firefly Hike at Roberts Park in Wild Rose. Meet at 7:30 pm.
- Saturday, September 2: Walk the Waush 5k Run/Roll/Walk at Bannerman Trailhead in Redgranite. Meet at 9:00 am.
