Join us as we finish up a few items from the big maintenance sweep at the end of June. We will be installing Trail Sign Posts, Carsonite posts and hang IATA signs at the begining and end trail heads. Workday Gear: Dress for grubby, outdoor work.  Wear rugged footwear, long work pants, long-sleeved shirt, gloves and a hat.  Sunscreen, bug spray or raingear may be appropriate. Workdays usually go on in most weather except hazardous conditions, such as thunderstorms.  Dress in layers, especially in cold or variable weather. Most of our worksites lack improved toilet facilities but permit natural and private relief (bring TP).  Bring water, and lunch or a snack if staying into the afternoon.   Chain saws or brush cutters may be used with safety gear and training. For sawyers, we require chaps, helmet, eye and ear protection, cut proof boots and accredited training.
