Be in the Moment. Slow down and enjoy the Plover River Segment. It is a jewel among Ice Age Trail segments. It’s sure to send your spirit soaring with its serene beauty and multitude of wildflowers. Photo by Christel Maass.

Be Playful. A 2.6-mile hike, a horse-drawn wagon ride through the lush Marathon County countryside, followed by wine and cheese! It’s important to be driven AND know how to embrace a good dose of fun as you live the good life!

Be DRIVEN Schedule:

Plover River Segment, Marathon County
9:00 am – 9:30 am: Register. Mix and mingle at the Dells of the Eau Claire County Park (parking lot near the falls).

9:30 am: Board bus to start of 2.6-mile hike. Guided hike by Marathon County Chapter members on the Plover River Segment.

11:30 am: Be Transported from the hike end-point back to Dells of the Eau Claire County Park.
Enjoy a horse drawn wagon ride through 4.7-miles of beautiful country side and the Dells of the Eau Claire County Park. Wagon rides provided by Starwood Farms.

12:30 pm: Enjoy wine, cheeses, and other refreshments at the park.

1:00 pm: Optional guided, loop hike around the Dells.
This nearly 1-mile, bonus hike includes two scenic bridges (a photographer’s dream); added exercise for the woman that likes to go the extra mile; and some stunning rock formations, gentle waterfalls, and a lazy river for the driven woman that believes the journey is the best part.

Details:

Limit: 36 women ages 15 and older

Investment: $20.00 for guided hike, horse drawn wagon ride, and refreshments.
