Come join us as we take in the beauty of our new 1.5 miles of trail recently completed this past August. The trail winds through the Iola Winter Sports Club awesome glacial landscape showcasing the hummocky topography and numerous kettles.  Start at the Grand Stone Staircase at the Ski Hill parking lot and end at Stoltenberg Rd.  Shuttles will be available for the trip back for those who would like.  But remember….the scenery is just as awesome when you turn around for the hike back.  3 miles of easy to moderate terrain is nothing for the adventurous soul!  Hike at your own pace.  Very well marked trail.

Look for the yellow ICE AGE TRAIL EVENT signs once you get to the Iola Ski Hill.  We will gather outside of the Chalet to start the hike!

Bring:

• Snowshoes or spikes (depending on snow conditions)
• Dress in layers
• Water
• Camera

Join us afterwards in the parking lot for :

• Hot cocoa
• Sweet breads & cookies
