June 6 is National Trails Day, a day to celebrate trails of all kinds but most especially hiking trails. We’re celebrating in Chippewa County as well, on the Ice Age Trail of course.

Meet at the Ice Age Trail trailhead at County Highway E at 9 AM and we’ll see what interesting sights the late-spring trail has to offer. The hike is approximately 4 miles and we will finish around noon. Bring water, and your insect strategy of choice. Wear long pants so you can tuck them in to ward off the occasional tick.
