Dog Hike & Meet-Up – Lake Louie Brewing, Verona

Join the Ice Age Trail Alliance members and Thousand Milers (multiple times) Kris Van Handel and Jared Wildenradt, along with their dog Maisy, for this Mammoth Hike Challenge event – Doggie Hike at Verona Segment – Prairie Moraine and Meet-up at Lake Louie Brewing (Wisconsin Brewing) in our Trail Community of Verona.
The doggie hike & meet-up is Wednesday, October 23, 2024.
No registration is needed. Dogs not required to attend this hike or meet-up!
Event Details
- 5:30 p.m. Meet at the Prairie Moraine (Wesner Road) Parking Lot – NOT the dog park parking lot
- 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. Hike the loop, approximately 2-miles (Bring a headlamp as it will be dusk/dark for the end of the hike)
- 6:45 p.m. Head over to Lake Louie Brewing (Wisconsin Brewing) for a post hike beverage* and Trail Talk!
*Lake Louie Brewing is offering Trail Magic during the Mammoth Hike Challenge = buy one, get one free pint.

Lake Louie Brewing Taproom Info
- Located at the Wisconsin Brewing Company building, home of Lake Louie Brewing.
- Enjoy sunsets in our backyard patio along our “Lake Louie”.
- We serve 12-14 of our beers on site. We also have hard seltzers, hard kombuchas, and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Family-friendly facility.
- Leashed dogs are always welcome in our taproom and backyard patio.
- No alcohol is allowed to be carried in.
- We do not serve food, but food delivery and carry-ins are allowed. Enjoy $12 Pitchers and JonnyO’s Pizzas in the taproom on Wednesday nights!
