May 14, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Flower Moon Hike
Cedar Lakes Segment
Join us for an evening hike on the Cedar Lakes Segment of the Ice Age National Scenic Trail. By the end of the hike, if the weather cooperates the full moon will light our way back. (Bring a flashlight or headlamp in case of clouds.)
LOCATION: Meet at the Ice Age Trail parking lot on County NN east of Highway 144, north of Slinger. Click here for driving directions. Watch for yellow “Ice Age Trail Event” signs.
HIKE DESCRIPTION: We will follow the Ice Age Trail south to Cedar Creek Road, and then return using either of the two white-blazed Kame Loop trails and the blue-blazed connector trail, for a total hike of either about 2.8 miles or 3.8 miles (participants can select the shorter or longer option).
WHAT TO BRING: Wear comfortable hiking boots and dress appropriately for the weather. Bring water and a light source (flashlight or headlamp) for everyone in your group.
