
National Trails Day Hike, Indian Creek Segment – Trap Rock Chapter, Polk County

Join the Trap Rock Chapter for a scenic hike through thickly forested and hummocky terrain of the Indian Creek Segment. Cross numerous creeks, spot spring ephemerals, and enjoy lovely views.
Hikers will meet at the Ice Age Trail parking lot on County O/50th Street, and traverse 3.1 miles of forested and hummocky terrain to 30th Street.

Dress for the weather, including layers. Bring water, snacks, sun lotion, and insect repellent.
Watch for “Ice Age Trail event” signs as you approach County O/50th Street.
