Waukesha Milwaukee Chapter Tyke Hike

August 3, 2016 @ 6:00 pm

Free

The waterways of Wisconsin are an invaluable resource to our state, helping people, plants and animals thrive. Please join us as we learn about our freshwater resources from Wisconsin’s beginnings to the present day. Our freshwater resources can teach us much about where our state came from and where we are headed.

Families with children of all ages are encouraged to attend! Tyke Hikes are short, slow-paced hikes promoting nature and family hiking on a portion of the Ice Age Trail. They last approximately 1-2 hours and can cover up to 1.5 miles. Tyke Hikes are led by Peter Dargatz, a Forest Kindergarten Teacher and Ice Age Trail volunteer. Post-hike educational materials and certificates will be provided to children.

Please meet at the Hartland Public Library.
