Waukesha/Milwaukee Chapter Tyke Hike
October 8, 2016 @ 10:00 am
FreeEver wonder why the leaves change color in autumn? This leisurely trek through the woods will allow kids and families to take in the beautiful colors of fall, while learning what this season is all about.
Families with children of all ages are encouraged to attend! Tyke Hikes are short, slow-paced hikes promoting nature and family hiking on a portion of the Ice Age Trail. They last approximately 1-2 hours and can cover up to 1.5 miles. Tyke Hikes are led by Peter Dargatz, a Forest Kindergarten teacher and Ice Age Trail volunteer. Post-hike educational materials and certificates for children will be provided. Please meet at the Powder Hill Rd. (also called the nature trail) parking lot.
