We will be meeting at the parking lot on Hwy H west of the Milwaukee river  There will be a variety of projects for all ages and levels including tread repair, replacing damaged/faded signs, painting new blazes and treating invasive plants

Meet at Milwaukee River Segment parking lot/trailhead on Hwy H, east of US 45 and just east of the Milwaukee River Hike 4 miles round trip north to Hwy 28 and back. Or continue on to East Moraine Dr for an 8 mile round trip hike Hike rated moderate; Bring water; State Park sticker not required.

We will be meeting at the Polk Kames parking on Hwy NN We will be building a blue connector path that includes many tasks to put in the tread and mark the new path. The work is appropriate for all ages and skill levels

We will meet at the Paradise Drive parking lot of the West Bend Segment The hike is approx. 6 miles round trip The hike is rated moderate for hills Bring hiking boots, water, insect repellant, and sun screen A State Park sticker is not required

We will meet at the North Kewaskum segment parking lot on Ridge Road The hike will be approx. 5.5 miles through the Maple/Beech forest of the Otten Preserve The hike is rated moderate because of some hills Bring hiking boots, water, insect repellant and sun screen A State Park sticker is not required

Saturday, March 25 at 1 pm.  Welcome Spring Hike.  Meet at shopping center by Culver's (2350 W. Washington St.) on Hwy. 33 in West Bend.  Hike from Highway 33 to Highway D and return.  About 5.2 miles round trip.  No park sticker required.

Sunday, April 23 at 1 pm.  Earth Day Hike.  A group from Yellow Wood outdoor store will support the hike.  Meet at the DNR's Shannon Road parking lot, 1/2 mile east of Hwy. K.  Hike to Donegal Road and hike back along the loop around Holy Hill. Hike is 6.2 miles.  Park sticker not required.

Tuesday, April 25 at 5:00 pm.  Waterford Road re-route.  We will begin work at 5:00 pm and continue until it gets too dark.  Work is available for volunteers of all ages and abilities.  Tools and training are provided.  Safety, fun, and trail building are stressed in that order of importance.  Bring water, long pants, work […]
