Waukesha/Milwaukee County Chapter – Trail Improvement Day
In 2015, a section of the Ice Age Trail in the Lapham Peak Segment was relocated along a dynamic gully as shown in the photo above. Since then the gully has become overgrown with buckthorn and other invasives. During this Chapter Trail Improvement Day, volunteers will pull, grub, and cut buckthorn to return the area back to native habitat.
