Waukesha/Milwaukee Chapter Fall Mid-Week Hike: Waterville Segment
WAMI, Pinewoods Group Campground W348 S4695, Waterville Rd, Dousman, WI, United StatesThe Waterville Segment is a gently rolling, easy to moderate hike. We will see the transformation of this segment that has taken place over the last year: new boardwalks, extensive clearing, two new Dispersed Camping Areas, and several trail relocations including almost 1⁄2 mile now off Waterville Road.
Trail Improvement Day, Waterville Segment, South – Waukesha/Milwaukee Co. Chapter
WAMI, Waterville Segment XGHX+33, Oconomowoc, WI, United StatesVolunteers will be clearing buckthorn and other invasives along a portion of the Scuppernong Segment on the IAT. We will open the corridor and create fantastic views through a 75 year old pine plantation.

Great news, hikers! The Waukesha/Milwaukee County Chapter of the Ice Age Trail Alliance is bringing back Twilight Trail Hikes; its well-attended, weeknight series of hikes for 2024! This series of hikes will take place on the last Tuesday of the month, April through September. No need to sign up, just show up! This spring's first Twilight Hike will be on the Monches Segment.
