The Northwoods Chapter is one of the oldest Ice Age Trail Alliance chapters. We have a segment adoption program that divides Ice Age Trail segments in Lincoln County into manageable distances for volunteers to maintain. We also have a rich history of working with youth groups and volunteers from throughout the state to build new Trail segments and maintain existing ones in the county.
Hike With Us!
Join the Northwoods Chapter for a guided snowshoe hike on Saturday, February 1, 2025, starting at 10:00 a.m. in the Underdown area of the Lincoln County Forest. Come enjoy the wonderful landscape created by the Great Wisconsin Glacier some 10,000 years ago. Learn more here.
