The Ice Age Trail lives in 31 counties and more than 300 communities throughout Wisconsin. We work to become an active community member in each municipality. Alliance volunteers and staff collaborate with local groups and organizations to introduce people to the economic, environmental and social benefits the Trail offers.
Promoting the Ice Age Trail takes many forms – group presentations, guided hikes, and outreach events such as Canoecopia or Midwest Mountaineering Expo are some examples.
