Waukesha/Milwaukee Chapter: Hartland Walking Club – Blue Spring Lake Segment Hike (South)

The Hike:

Explore the National Ice Age Trail with us! This month we will be hiking the Blue Spring Lake Segment from it’s southern trail head near Palmyra.

Details:

This will be about a four mile hike through some of the more interesting areas of the Southern Kettle Moraine. There are some moderate hills so be
prepared for a cardio workout. Bring water. Dress for the weather. We will cancel if weather or conditions are unsafe. These hikes are are free, and advanced registration with the Hartland Rec Dept. is preferred. All ages and abilities are welcome. Ages 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Location:

Meet at the Bald Bluff Nature Trail parking lot. We will carpool from there to the Horse Riders camp and hike back to Bald Bluff.

Our leisurely-paced hikes are usually 3 to 4 miles long depending on the group we have and how far everyone wants to go. Bring water. Dress for the weather. We will cancel if weather or conditions are unsafe. These hikes are are free, and advanced registration with the Hartland Rec Dept. is preferred. All ages and abilities are welcome. Ages 17 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
